Description:

Oklawaha Greenway Trail begins behind the Henderson County Parks & Recreation building, travels through the Jackson Park Nature Trail, passes by King Memorial and Sullivan Park, through Mud Creek and ends in Patton Park.  From beginning to end the trail distance is 2 miles.

This path is very enjoyable. You may see bicycles, scooters and rollerbladers on this trail. Along the way, signs provide interesting information about local wildlife such as birds and bats and also about local trees and flowers. Watch out for high water. When Mud Creek is high it can completely flood the trail at times. Near the end of the trail there is a board walk which allows you to walk above a natural swamp.
